The purpose of this board is to serve as a place for offering both positive and negative critiques of religion. Since religion can be a toucy issue, it is understandable that some people may find some of the posts on this board offensive. Nonetheless, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and everyone can have their say on this board so long as it remains on topic.

Christianity is the most logical, provable religion in existence. Expressly because it has "antagonist" sources to draw from, which besides Josephus and his work, include especially archeology. However, it is also imminently, even "presciently" logical based on scientific statements it makes.

For instance, ancient wise men actually believed that the earth "sat" on an animal or was held up by a giant. But the Bible states in its oldest (it is thought) book, Job 26:7, that He "..suspends the earth over nothing." As well, the bible stated 2000 years ago the the things we see are made of that which is not seen: Hebrews 11:3b, "..that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible." Just these two concepts were/are virtually unimaginable, let alone (the average) modern man's ability to understand the underlying science of it.

As for the earth that we do see, science & scientists were quite convinced that the earth was flat, not all that many years ago. Aristotle did make a consideration that the earth might be a sphere, but that obviously didn't convince the best minds "closer" to our era. However, the Bible saida few hundred years before Aristotle that the earth was a circle, in Isiah 40:22: He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and it's people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in."

There are more concepts like this I could go into but these several honest ones are a good start.. I suppose a final one would be good to consider, however. And that is that the bible clearly and graphically describes the effects of a final, cataclysmic thermo-nuclear war in 2ndPeter, 3:10. Take a look.. Sounds hot..

So Christians can prove their god exists? I can't wait to see the evidence.

(BTW, I re-read your post. You must have forgotten to include the 'proof' and 'empirical evidence'. Or maybe, you thought that 'faith' meant 'proof'? Or maybe you don't understand the terms at all?)

Ah well, disappointed again ...
